The IAC Guaranteed Time allocation committee is in charge of managing the IAC guaranteed time for the following telescopes:
- The SARA telescopes: JTK (ORM), SARA-Kitt Peak and SARA-Cerro Tololo. 10% of the observing time on the JKT is available to the IAC, distributed by the TGI, and a fraction of the observing time on SARA’s telescopes, equivalent to 20% of the observing time on the JKT will be dedicated to joint scientific programs led by IAC research teams, in collaboration with the SARA partner Universities.
- Las Cumbres (LCOGT): A total of approximately 3000 hr per semester are granted to the IAC community to this network of 19 telescopes, distributed by the TGI. Moreover, regular proposals can be submitted to the LCOGC central TAC. All the observations are executed in service mode.
- SAFT – SuperWASP Alsubai Follow-up Telescope: The IAC community has access up to 20% granted time, plus to a 5% of the time through the International Time. Moreover, the IAC community has access to the full reduced data base through collaborations with the Warwick University.
- Open University Telescope: The IAC community has access up to 20% granted time, plus to a 5% of the time through the International Time. Moreover, the IAC community has access to the full reduced data base through collaborations with the Open University.
