SUMMARY:How to beat Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle
DESCRIPTION:How to beat Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle \nDr. Lucio Pi
ccirillo\n\nI will discuss recent development in low noise amplifiers for
astrophysical applications.I will describe the fundamental quantum limits
of linear amplifiers and then I will show how a promising new class of amp
lifiers - superconducting parametric amplifiers - might be able to (
apparently) violate the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle.
