Research line: Formation and Evolution of Galaxies

Dr. D'onghia is an Associate Professor at the Department of Astronomy of the University of Wisconsin- Madison (Wisconsin, USA).

Her research combines unique analytic models and high-resolution numerical simulations to get new insights into the dynamical processes that form the stellar skeleton of our Galaxy. 

During her visit to IAC, Dr. D'onghia will collaborate with Dr. Alfonso López Aguerri.
