Marie Skłodowska-Curie - Individual Fellowships
Are you an astrophysicist researcher with a doctoral degree? Are you interested in working with the best skies and instruments of Europe? Do you want to come to the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias?
We are looking for excellent researchers to work with us on frontier-research projects that will make a contribution to the knowledge of the Universe.
We are inviting expressions of interest from Astrophysics researchers or engineers interested in submitting a European Commission Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship (MSCA IF) application with the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias as Host Institution.
Our Knowledge Transfer Office - OTRI will offer support and supervision in writing the proposal to applicants who pass our internal selection process.
As per MSCA-IF rules, researchers must be in possession of a doctoral degree at the date of the call deadline or have at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience. They shall not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the submission date.
There are also possibilities for Spanish nationals wishing to work abroad and then come back to Spain (Global Fellowships) or Career Restart or Reintegration to Europe after long breaks – please check the MSCA IF call

The IAC Knowledge Transfer Office - OTRI will then check the potential of the application, identify a potential supervisor and contact the applicants
