The competition was open to groups of 4 students, guided by a teacher, in the schools participating in the " SolarLab " project carrying out one or more of the proposed research activities. The format of the work consisted of a video of 3 to 5 minutes duration in which they should show the " SolarLab " experience at their school, including images and/or videos of the Sun obtained with the instrumentation provided by SolarLab and one or more results of the proposed research project.

On the 4th and 5th of June, as a reward for their efforts, the prizewinners will be visiting the main centre of the IAC in La Laguna, and then spending the rest of the day and a good fraction of the night visiting and observing at the Teide Observatory, The following day, after spending the night at the Parador Nacional (hotel) they will visit the Teide National Park, go up to the summit of Teide, and then then pay a visit to the Museum of Science and the Cosmos, before returning to their home islands. This will be a unique experience, from which they will gain the maximum benefit.
